Firstly if you haven’t been at ”The Lone Rock” in Balan, I think, you should plan a day trip there as soon as possible. One of our friends who lives there invited us. While considering to join him, I didn’t know it will be the most difficult and the most enjoyable hike in my life. We started the trek in the steep trail, we passed through a forest while perspiring excessively. Eventually, we reached the top of the mountain. There is a place which is kind of relaxing spot to look back and feel the achievement. Of course every time there is more thing to achieve. You are not high enough now, take your time to rest, then aim to the top of the rocks near you, as we did.
I assure you it’s not easy at all, but the reward is astonishing when you reach there. Just look at that, AMAZING!

After the overwhelming hot summer in Turkey, I knew that it will be a harsh winter for me. I accept that it’s way more cold that I confront in my city, but as they said, humans can adapt every kind of condition, they just need some time to adjust. I never thought that the combination of snow, Christmas and Székelyudvarhely would be that beautiful. It helped me to acclimate to the cold weather. Here are some photos as my memories.

Being a member of UFF feels good. All the activities, events and concerts make me feel alive. We’ve been volunteer jury members in the Peron Music competition which was a joyful event with skillful musicians and well-quality songs. We had a difficult time to decide who showed the best performance however the Road Of Life deserves the first place according to our and the musician jury’s votes. I wish them to keep doing the great job they do. Furthermore, as you know, every year there is a great event organized by UFF. At the beginning of the evening, we present ourselves, our projects and life to the members then enjoyed good music provided by FUNKorparation.

I would say that for me the most enjoyable hobby is playing video games. That’s why I was spending most of my free time in front of my TV and PlayStation. More than three years ago, one day I met a French guy while I’m playing a multi-player game. After that, we started to play together and speak via voice chat. Eventually, we became good friends enough to decide to see each other. So he was here in Romania for 5 days including new years eve. Despite the fact we see each other very first time, after spending some time together, I felt like he is a friend from my childhood. I think it was the best time to visit Romanian cities during the new year’s excitement. Shining Sibiu and beautiful Cluj were great, no need to explain you know that. Also, we wanted to show him our city, therefore, decided to spend new year’s eve in Székelyudvarhely with the firework show and of course a bottle of champagne.

I don’t want to take more time of yours, but let me write something about our projects too. So, we repeated some English words and sentences briefly as the last thing and said goodbye to kindergartens recently. Next semester we’ll focus on primary schools. Already started to prepare for them. We put a grand effort to create a room-size board game which is 3*4 meters. The aim is to teach them the importance of recycling, energy saving,  keeping the world clean while taking care of the different type of trashes. In a short explanation, the goal is to teach them how to save the future of the planet earth while helping them in improve their English.

Igaz, rég volt már november mégsem hagyhatom ki. Rengetek dolog történt akkor is.

Mint például ovikban tanítás, English Club, Adj Király katonát vetélkedő, és sok-sok utazás.

A hónap elején volt lehetőségem részt venni mint segítő, az Adj Király Katonát országod vetélkedőn. Előtte még nem hallottam erről a rendezvényről, de elmentem mert kíváncsi voltam. A lényege az volt hogy a gyerekek elolvassanak egy mesékből álló kiskönyvet és abból a lehető legjobban felkészüljenek. Mercivel mentünk, Nagyenyedre, ahol volt a döntő. Sok jó embert megismertem, és tapasztalatot szereztem milyen is benne lenni egy ilyen szervezőcsapatban.  Nem egyszerű, viszont a csapatmunka megkönnyíti a munkát.

Nagyenyed után, boldogan utaztunk Kolozsvárra, ugyanis visszaérkezett Esra és Gökhan Törökországból. Nagyon örültünk hogy újra teljes a csapat. Eltöltöttünk egy napot városnézéssel, mindent megcsodáltunk, és miután fáradtan leültünk felfrissülni, úgy döntöttünk még biztosan jövünk Kolozsvárra. Két nap közel sem volt elég a városból.

A következő napokban, már otthon, elkezdtük a munkát. Előkészültünk, terveztünk, és tanítottunk az ovikban, volt Press Conference, amin minket kérdeztek újságírók és persze English Speaking Clubot tartottunk. Visszazökkentünk a normális kerékvágásba, és négyen, összedolgozva néztünk szembe a következő hetekkel és lassan a novembernek is vége lett.

Az idő szaladt és mi pakoltunk, ugyanis december elején felmentünk a Hargitára pár éjszakára. Az UFF csapat és a gólyabál szervezői. Előtte már voltam a Hargitán , de mindig csak ősszel vagy nyáron, így egy kicsit féltem hogy meg fogok fagyni. Szerencsére minden jó volt, meleg volt a házban és jól éreztük magunkat. Annyira hogy fel is mentünk a Hargita tetejére. A kilátásért megérte.

Miután haza tértünk a kiruccanásból, és kiolvadtunk, újra munkának láttunk. Egy új projektbe kezdtünk bele és az óvodákban pedig teszteltük az gyerekeket mire emlékszenek az elmúlt fél évből. Elismételtük amit addig tanultunk, és nagy meglepetésünkre nagyon sok mindent tudtak.

Szóval nagyjából így telt a december. Tanítottunk,  festettünk és mikor közeledett a karácsony hazautaztunk Mercivel.

Örültem hogy otthon vagyok, a családommal, és a barátaimmal, hisz hiányoztak. Egészen január közepéig velük is voltam, és csak ezután tértem vissza Udvarhelyre, ugyanis mikor otthon voltam egy idő után az itteniek hiányoztak.J

Januárban felvettem a többiekkel a ritmus és az irodába jártunk főként festeni.  És lassan kész lettünk az új projekttel. Már csak pár simítás és kész lesz a tanulásra, játékra.
